About

Medley is the  journal for Interdisciplinary Art & Design students of Leeds College of Art.

It is a collection of reviews, crits and sources freely debated and shared amongst all the year groups and staff on the course. Usually relevant to current projects but completely shaped and led by concerns, issues and interests from the minds of Interdisciplinaries. It aims to be relevant and avoid becoming outdated easily!

All are welcome to share their work for peer feedback on the Feedback page!

I went to the Undone-Making and unmaking in contemporary sculpture at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds City Centre on the 16th of October. I wasn’t impressed by the work on show overall, but i did like the idea of the artists using everyday materials for their work. I thought it looked too tacky. I liked the way the fist sculpture was constructed and the piece of sculpture that looked like a piece of jewellery. This relates to the theme of everyday objects that we’ve been studying in our first module.
